A. Aims: Helps students learn more about some question words.

B. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, the students will be able to use the progressive tense , using “Wh- question” to talk about jobs, means of transportation and places where they are going.

C. Ways of working: - Students work in teams, in groups, in pairs, in individuals.

 - Teacher - Whole class.

 D. Materials: Text books, lesson plan, projector, laptop, speaker, pictures, ball.

 E. Anticipated problems: Weak students may be shy when asking questions about the pictures of the students standing in front of the class.

 -> Teacher’s sollution: Encourage and elicits some difficult words for them.

A. Aims: Helps students learn more about some question words.
B. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, the students will be able to use the progressive tense , using “Wh- question” to talk about jobs, means of transportation and places where they are going.

I. Organisation:
- Greet, introduce the observers.
- Greet the teachers.
II. Checking old lesson:
The song: The question words.
+ Who
+ Why
+ What
 + When
 + Where
 + How
- Play the song: The question words.
- Make students into 3 teams and give them teams’ names – simple names: A, B, C.
- Ask them to listen to the song and remember question words in the song.
- Choose 3 students from each team to go to the board and give them 1minute to write question words. 
- Check their answers, then choose and praise the winner of the game.
- Listen to the song.
- Listen to the rules of the game.
- Play a game in groups.
- Check the answers, praise the winning team with the teacher. 
III. New lesson:

 - Use the Eliciting technique “Visuals” to teach new words.
 - Check vocabulary with “Rub out and Remember”. 
- Show the pictures and say the words.
- Show the pictures in part A, ask students to remark on the activities in 6 pictures.
- Ask students to guess the order of the pictures.
- Play CD 2 times.
- Call students to check their answers.
- Show the correct answers.
- Ask them to close their books.
- Show 3 pictures on the slide and introduce the lesson with 4 people in the reading. 
- Show the table and ask students to guess some more information about 4 people in the reading.
- Ask them to listen to CD 1time
- Make students open their books, read and check the predictions.
- Read sentence by sentence and ask students to repeat
- Have students look at the picture 1 and remember the information, then answer the teacher’s questions (focus on question words: who, What, Where, How).
- Turn the stereo on.
- Ask students to listen to music and pass the ball to each other. When music stops, the one who keeps the ball will make a question with the word given by the teacher. Then they can choose someone else to answer his/her question.
- Tell students incorrect information about 4 people in the reading and ask students to correct them.
- Teacher will make it into the chant.
- The teacher chants and does the actions first.
- Look at the picutures and repeat the words after the teacher.
- Look and remark on 6 activities. 
- Some students write their predictions on the board.
- Listen and number
- Check their answers.
- Look and guess the information about 4 people in the chart then write down on another table.
- Listen to CD.
- Open their books, read then check their predictions.
- Answer the teacher’s questions for the first picture.
- Follow to the game’s rules.
- Play the game.
- Correct incorrect sentences from the teacher.
- Chant after the teacher.
IV. Consolidation:
- Ask students to draw a picture of one of their family’s members.
- Choose some students to go to the front and show their pictures.
- The others will ask the questions about his/ her picture 
E.g: Who is that?
 What does he/she do?
 Where is she going?
 How is she travelling?
- Draw the pictures.
- Listen to the teacher.
- Make the questions.
V. Homework:
- Learn by heart the new words and make free examples with the Question words: “Who; Why;What; When; Where; How”.
+ Write some names of job.
+ Make a list means of transport.
- Do the exercise II. Grammar (1 and 2) in the workbook (at page 41 - 42).
- Prepare for the next lesson B1 about a truck driver, Mr. Quang.
- Show the homework on the screen and elicit some ways of doing them.
- Open the workbooks, look at Exercise on page 41; 42.
