Ngữ pháp Tiếng Anh Lớp 6 - Chapter 3: Conditionnal sentences Type 1,2

Câu điều kiện loại 2: là câu điều kiện không có thật thường dùng để nói lên sự tưởng tượng của người nói. ( Điều kiện không thể xảy ra ở hiện tại hoặc tương lai ).

Cấu trúc :

If Clause(mệnh đề If ) Main Clause( m.đề chính )

QKBT were/ weren’t

 V2/V-ed

 (didn’t+V1) Would/Could/Might + V1

Ex:If I lived near your house, I would take you to school everyday

Note: -Động từ to be phải chia là were ở tất cả các ngôi.

Ex: - If I were you, I wouldn't go to that movie.

- Chúng ta có thể sử dụng Could hoặc might thay thế cho would ở mệnh đề chính

Ex:If I won the lottery, I could / might stop working

- Chúng ta không sử dụng would / might / could trong mệnh đề chứa If.

*Note:

- Muốn chuyển từ câu nói thường sang câu điều kiện thì:

+ Động từ trong mệnh đề if (if clause) lùi 1 bậc thì.

+ Câu khẳng định -> câu phủ định và ngược lại.

Ex: I do not have money . I do not buy a new car.

-> If I had money, I would buy a new car.

- Câu bắt đầu bằng “because” -> If clause

Ex: He does not get good marks because he is lazy.

->If he were lazy, he would get good marks.

- Câu bắt đầu bằng “so” , mệnh đề đứng trước “so” là mệnh đề If.

Ex: I do not care about my mother’s advice, so I have so many problems in my business.

->If I cared about my mother’s advice, I would not have so many problems in my business.

A. THEORY 
I.Câu điều kiện loại 1(có thể xảy ra ở hiện tại & tương lai):
If Clause(mệnh đề If )
Main Clause( m.đề chính )
àHTĐ	 am/is/are
 V1/Vs-es
 (don’t/doesn’t-V1)
(Chủ ngữ : He,She,It + Vs,es)
 àwill/can/may +V1
Ex : I will stay at home if it rains 
If you leave before 10 o’clock, you will catch the train easily
*Dạng bài tập :	V(inf) + OR + Clause (Simple Future)
	= Unless you + V(inf) , Clause (Simple Future)
	= If you don’t + V(inf) , Clause (Simple Future)
	Ví dụ: 	Study hard or you will fail the exam.	 
	= Unless you study hard , you will fail the exam.
	= If you don’t study hard , you will fail the exam.	
II.Câu điều kiện loại 2: là câu điều kiện không có thật thường dùng để nói lên sự tưởng tượng của người nói. ( Điều kiện không thể xảy ra ở hiện tại hoặc tương lai ).

Either infinitives or gerunds:
stop:
stop + to infinitives (= stop this work to start the other work)
e.g. He stops to smoke. (He stops his work and starts smoking)
stop + gerunds (= to give up a habit )
e.g. He stops smoking (He no longer smokes)
try:
try + to infinitives (= manage successfully to do)
e.g. He tried to lift the case. (He managed to lift the case and succeeded)
try + VING (= to experience)
e.g. He tried lifting the case. (He wanted to know whether he could lift it)
remember:
remember + to infinitives (= to make oneself aware of a task)
e.g. He remembered to lock the door. (He had to lock the door)
remember + VING (= to assure oneself a fulfilled task)
e.g. He remembered locking the door. (He was sure that he had locked the door)
forget:
forget + to infinitives (= to miss a task)
e.g. Sam forgot to buy food. (Sam didn’t buy food)
forget + VING (= the fulfilled task is forgotten)
e.g. Sam forgot buying food. (He bought food but he didn’t remember)
regret:
regret + to infinitives (not want to do this task)
e.g. Kim regretted to say the truth. (He didn’t want to say the truth but he had to)
regret + VING ( the task is done unexpectedly)
e.g. Kim regretted saying the truth.(He said and he regretted what he’d done)
Need :
need + V-ing (mang nghĩa bị động)

1.7 S+ prefer +N+to+ N: thích cái gì hơn (hơn cái gì)
Ex:I prefer tea to coffee.
