Lake Baikal is the deepest and oldest take in the world. It is located in South – eastern Siberia. There are two main ways to get to the lake: by train or by plane.
Lake Baikal is more than 1,600 meters and 2,500 years old. It covers 3,100 square kilometres. Especially, Baikal contains 20 percent of the fresh water’s supply. Moreover, there are more than 2,600 species(loài) of plants and animals which attract many scientists and tourists. Baikal is called a museum of climates due to the variations caused by different factors in nature.
