Hoi An is ancient town. It lies on the bank of Thu Bon River. Tourists like Hoi An because it has old temples, pagodas, small tile- roofed houses and narrow hometown.
One of the main attractions of Hoi An is Chua Cau, which was built in 16th century. It is still well –preserved today. All visitors to Hoi An are recommended a visit to the Assembly Hall , which was built in 1885 and still keep many precious subjects. Another attractive address address is Tan Ky House, which was constructed nearly two centuries ago. In recent years, Hoi An has become a popular tourist destination in Viet Nam. In 1999, it was certified by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage Site.
